Join, belong, renew — without the chasing.
Members is a low-cost, Canadian-built membership platform for associations, clubs, and community organizations. Take applications and dues online, keep every member’s standing current, and let people renew from one email — no account, no password, no spreadsheet.
Built for the one-person office and the volunteer treasurer. No enterprise setup, no consultants, no member logins to support.
The problem
Renewal season runs on a spreadsheet, a payment link, a mail merge, and somebody’s evenings.
Most member organizations are run by one administrator or a volunteer board. Every year the same questions come round — who is due, who has paid, who has lapsed, who still gets the member rate — and most of the answers are kept by hand. Members replaces the stack with one record per member and one guided loop: join, belong, renew.
Why Members
Everything the membership year needs. Nothing an enterprise association system piles on.
Renewal without a login
Members renew from the link in their notice — no account to create, no password to reset. A one-time code is only asked for when they open their own records.
Standing you never type
Status and good standing are worked out from dates, payments and your rules. Voting lists, the directory and member pricing all read the same answer.
Dues and applications online
Join and renewal pages run on your own Stripe account, connected to Members, so dues settle to you directly. Invoices carry GST/HST as you set it for each level.
Every kind of membership
Individual, household and organizational memberships with seats, from the first day. Levels, terms and grace periods are settings, not custom work.
A card in their wallet
A membership card in Apple Wallet, in your brand, that updates on renewal and greys out on a lapse. It scans at the door with no signal.
AI-powered import
Upload the spreadsheet you run membership on today. It reads the columns, proposes the mapping and flags duplicates — nothing is written until you approve.
Who it is for
One model, four kinds of organization.
Term, level, status, payment, renewal. The differences between a professional body and a curling club are settings, not separate products.
Associations and professional bodies
Levels, chapters, declarations at renewal, and continuing-education credits that post when someone checks in.
Clubs, societies and leagues
Household memberships, seasons, and a card on the phone that scans at the door.
Faith and community organizations
Simple dues, family records, and a renewal nobody needs help to finish.
Chambers, unions and member non-profits
Organizational memberships with seats, invoices with tax, and a roster the member company keeps itself.
The parts we did differently
Small decisions, made in your members’ favour.
None of these are features you would shop for. They are the reason renewals get finished.
Questions confirm, they do not interrogate
Renewal shows what you already hold and asks the member to confirm or correct it. A question can be asked every year, every few years, or once — because every extra question competes with the Pay button.
Events are priced by level
Set one price for each membership level and one for non-members. The right rate is applied from the record, and shown against the public price so the saving is visible.
A lapsed member sees a way back
Members-only registration reads good standing at that moment. Someone who has lapsed is not turned away with an error — they are offered the renewal, at the point they want something you have.
Credits post at the door
Continuing-education credits are recorded when someone checks in, not when they register — so the transcript shows who attended, not who meant to.
Help shape Members — and keep founding pricing for good.
We’re onboarding a small group of Canadian member organizations as design partners. You get a direct line to the people building it, a say in what ships first, and founding pricing — from $50/month CAD — locked when we launch.
Built in Canada, for Canadian member organizations.
Members is Canadian-built and Canadian-owned. We know how Canadian associations, clubs and societies actually run.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers.
What will it cost?
Two plans, one product: $50/month CAD for up to 2,500 members, or $150/month above that. Every feature is included on both — the member count is the only thing that changes the price. Design partners lock founding pricing when we launch.
Whose Stripe account do payments go to?
Yours. Each organization connects its own Stripe account to Members, so dues and ticket payments settle to you directly and appear in your own Stripe dashboard. Stripe’s processing fees are charged by Stripe to your account.
Do our members need an account?
No. The member record is the account. A renewal notice carries a link that shows the amount and takes payment; a one-time code by email is only asked for when a member opens their own profile, history or invoices. There is no password to forget, and no login for you to support.
Can we issue tax receipts for dues?
Dues are treated as non-receiptable unless you say otherwise. A registered charity can switch receipting on for a level; everyone else issues an invoice, with GST/HST as you have set it. That is how the setting works — confirm your own obligations with your advisor.
We’re a charity with a small supporter tier. Members or Donors?
If membership is a light supporter tier alongside fundraising, Donors by 2Labs already includes it. If membership is the organization — levels, terms, renewals, a directory, events at member rates — that is Members. They are separate products for different jobs.
How hard is it to move off spreadsheets?
Upload the spreadsheet or export you use today. AI-powered import reads the columns, proposes where each one goes, and flags likely duplicates. You review the plan and approve it before anything is written.
Where is our data stored?
In Canada. Everything you put into Members — member records, payment history, invoices, renewal answers, documents — lives in Microsoft Azure’s Canadian regions, and the backups stay in Canada too. Card details are held by Stripe, in your own Stripe account, and never by us.
One honest caveat, and where it is going. AI-powered import works by sending the text of your spreadsheet to Anthropic’s Claude for processing, and today that processing happens outside Canada. It is processing, not storage: the records themselves are written to the Canadian database, and nothing sent for processing is used to train anyone’s model.
Anthropic has published Canadian regional processing as coming during 2026. If it is available when import ships, we use it. If it is not, we will name the feature plainly and give you a way to switch it off and bring your list in without it. Either way you will know before you are a paying customer, and the rest of the product never sends your data anywhere.
When does it launch?
Members is in active development and not open yet. The waitlist is how you hear first, and design partners get in before everyone else.
